We are thrilled to announce the winners of this year's scholarships! SODA’s Scholarship Selection Committees had the challenging task of reviewing applications from College and University students across the country. After careful consideration, we are delighted to reveal the eleven exceptional individuals who have been awarded a $1,000 scholarship for the 2023-2024 school year in recognition of their academic achievements, community involvement, and passion for organ, eye, and tissue donation advocacy.

The HBCU Organ and Tissue Donation Advocacy Scholarship supports students attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who have shown a dedication to raising awareness and advocating for organ, eye, and tissue donation within their communities.

The Student Advocacy Scholarship recognizes and supports students with a passion for leadership and dedication to organ, eye, and tissue donation advocacy.

The Laurie Smith Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a transplant recipient who has demonstrated commitment to raising awareness for organ, eye, and tissue donation.
