Open Positions

Alumni Mentors (remote volunteer role for post-grad SODA alum)

Support the next generation of SODA student leaders by sharing your experience, perspective, and encouragement as an alumni mentor. Mentors will build a meaningful relationship with a current SODA student, help them navigate leadership opportunities and challenges, and play an important role in their growth both within SODA and beyond. Applicants must have graduated from college and been a former SODA student.

Current Student Mentees (remote volunteer role for current SODA students)

Connect with a SODA alum who can offer guidance, encouragement, and perspective as you grow as a student leader. Mentees will build a meaningful relationship with an experienced SODA alum, gain insight into leadership and professional development, and have a dedicated person to turn to with questions and challenges along the way.

HBCU Marketing and Event Planning Interns (paid, remote 2-month "mini" internship)

We are seeking Historically Black College and University (HBCU) students to be Marketing and Event Planning Interns. In this role, interns will have the opportunity to develop and execute a donation advocacy event on their campus, share feedback about the event planning process with SODA’s National Team, and review the materials the organization provides to all student advocates.
