Celebrating Life, Health, and the Gift of Donation with Kim Charles
Hi friends,
October is a special month for me. It is my birthday month, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and it also marks 7 years since I became cancer-free. I would not be here without the gift of tissue donation, so this year I want to celebrate life by giving back.
To honor my journey, my donor, and the incredible work of SODA: Student Organ Donation Advocates, I am hosting this fundraiser. My goal is $2,594. That number is meaningful because it is the exact number of days between my cancer diagnosis and the end of this fundraiser on October 31.
Why SODA?
SODA empowers college students across the country to educate their peers about organ, eye, and tissue donation. Through chapters on campuses nationwide, students share life-saving facts, host events, and inspire people to register as donors. Together, they have already educated more than 250,000 people and helped register thousands of new donors.
When you give to my fundraiser, you are supporting SODA’s student chapters directly. Your gift ensures they have the resources, training, and support to continue their advocacy. Every dollar helps students save more lives.

Join Me
I am so grateful to be here, to be celebrating this milestone, and to be able to give back. I hope you will join me in supporting SODA and making a difference in the lives of those still waiting for a transplant.

Thank you for celebrating with me! 💚
