Ishani Gupta

Ishani first got introduced to SODA through the Stevenson’s SODA chapter in 2024 and has been incredibly involved and committed to raising awareness about organ donation to individuals in her community ever since. Drawn in by the lack of conversation and education about organ donation, Ishani became an active member in advocating for the cause, wanting to help change misconceptions and promote a greater understanding among her peers.

Throughout her time with SODA, Ishani has worked with others to emphasize the importance of organ donation, especially through numerous outreach events and initiatives through the Chicagoland area. With experience leading the Adlai E. Stevenson’s SODA chapter, as the High School Student Liaison, Ishani works with the Board of Directors to provide important insights in order to help maximize the potential and create a strong impact through SODA.

Outside of SODA, Ishani is passionate about scientific research and wishes to pursue a career in healthcare in her future. In her free time, she loves spending time outside, listening to music, and traveling!
