As a pre-med psychology student at Northeastern University, Daniel's involvement with the SODA: Student Organ Donation Advocates chapter began during his freshman year. Since then, he has served as Chapter Treasurer and is honored to be the incoming President for the 2026–2027 academic year.

He found his passion for advocacy at one of the chapter’s “Donor-for-a-Donut” tabling events. He met someone who had doubts about organ donation, but after spending time talking it through, the individual felt comfortable enough to sign up on the spot. In that moment, he realized that a single conversation can have a powerful ripple effect. After later hearing from donors and recipients at SODA panel and speaker events, he knew this was a cause he wanted to lead.

Outside of SODA, he works as a Residential Counselor for McLean Psychiatry and serves as the fundraising chair for the Northeastern Powerlifting Team. He is also a research assistant for the Ethanol, Drugs, and Gambling Experimental (EDGE) Lab. He looks forward to using his leadership and communication skills to provide a strong “student voice” to SODA National.
