Charlotte Harvey

College Student Liaison

A picture of Nicole Nidea

Charlotte is a student at the University of Maryland College Park where she is currently studying psychology with a minor in neuroscience. As a pre-medical student pursuing an MD, she found her love for organ donation awareness while shadowing a pediatric nephrologist at Johns Hopkins Children's Hospital. Motivated by seeing its tangible impact, she founded UMD's SODA chapter where she now serves as the President.

Charlotte also serves as an Infinite Legacy ambassador, one of the youngest members in the organization. She is dedicated to advocacy and education in underserved communities, working closely with Prince George's County to spread awareness to groups with historic mistrust in medicine. She works to bridge the gap between knowledge and care through a variety of methods including tabling, events, and guest speakers.

On top of SODA, Charlotte tutors elementary and middle school children from PG county and works as a Resident Assistant on campus, constantly giving back to her community. Outside of academics, you'll find her outside on a bike ride or playing pickleball with her friends.

In March of 2026, Charlotte joined SODA's National Board of Directors as a College Student Liaison. She is excited to continue supporting SODA's mission on a national-level through collaborative efforts with other chapters.
