Anthony Milisci
College Student Liaison
Anthony Milisci is a senior at the University of Massachusetts Lowell studying Public Health and Political Science. He serves on the Executive Board of the UML Student Government Association and works in the UML Office of Student Life and Well-being. He also joined SODA at UMass Lowell in the fall of 2021 and became President of the chapter at the end of the spring of 2022.
As a transplant recipient, he is passionate about organ and tissue donation advocacy and education. Anthony was diagnosed with biliary atresia, a rare liver disease, at seven weeks old. He received a liver transplant at 18 years old, giving him a new lease on life. He uses his story to encourage others to register as organ donors and inspire his peers to become donation advocates themselves.
As a Student Liaison on the SODA Board of Directors, Anthony wants to help empower students to become organ and tissue donation advocates so more people can receive the gift of life.
