College Student Liaison

A picture of Nicole Nidea

Aidan is a business student at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, where he is pursuing a double major in Finance and Real Estate. He is the founder and current president of UW–Madison’s SODA chapter.

Inspired by his mother’s double lung transplant and her life-saving gift, he sought out ways to raise awareness about organ, eye, and tissue donation on campus. Fall of his freshman year, he founded the SODA chapter at UW–Madison and has led efforts to educate and register students as organ donors ever since.

In addition to founding and leading his campus chapter, Aidan also serves as an Ambassador for the Gift of Hope Organ and Tissue Donor Network, the organ procurement organization (OPO) based in his hometown of Chicago. His advocacy is driven by personal experience, and he is passionate about making donation education more accessible to students across the country.

In March 2025, Aidan joined SODA’s National Board of Directors as a College Student Liaison. He is excited to support other chapters, collaborate with student leaders nationwide, and help grow SODA’s life-saving mission.
