Addison Foster was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama, and is currently studying biology at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University. She has been interested in healthcare since childhood and hopes to become a clinical laboratory scientist, where she can study diseases and abnormalities in the body.

In high school, Addison nurtured her passion for healthcare by joining career and health-focused organizations such as HOSA, which deepened her knowledge of the medical field and led to her involvement with SODA at Chelsea High School, the first school in Alabama to start a chapter. This experience strengthened her interest in community health engagement and helped develop her leadership skills.

Through strong mentorship and leadership, Addison gained a meaningful understanding of the importance of organ, eye, and tissue donation and remains committed to continuing her advocacy as she begins her collegiate journey.

Outside of academics, Addison enjoys cooking, running, and spending quality time with friends and family.
